Become a Friend of your local Society for People with Sight Loss

The Society needs blind champions to help raise awareness of issues faced by people with sight loss and to help raise the profile of the Society. The Society needs both sighted and visually impaired Friends to raise funds to continue to help the thousands of people with sight loss in County Durham.

As we are a charity, we rely on donations to allow us to continue to provide a range of services to local people with sight loss. To help us with our work, we ask for a voluntary annual subscription (currently £10) which gives membership of the society and entitles you to vote at our Annual General Meeting.

This subscription is vital to us raising the funds we need to help blind and partially sighted people in the area. If you would like more information on becoming a subscriber, please contact us on 0191 386 8175.
