Within the Community we provide:
- A Driver/Escort for eye clinic appointment ONLY
- Maintaining the RNIB Talking Book Service
- Equipment from the British Wireless for the Blind Fund
- Outreach Service to encourage and enable more people with sight loss to benefit from our services
- Home Visiting Scheme whereby trained volunteers visit visually impaired people where they receive little or no home support
- A Telephone Support Scheme
- Computer mentoring
All the services we provide are free of charge and you need to be visually impaired to receive them.
